We (Sarah and Jenny) have been Best Friends for over 20 years. Platonic soulmates to say the least. With our recent milestone of turning 30 years old, it had us thinking and looking back on our lives. We realized we still wanted to do more but in a way where we would be able to put time and love into creating something beautiful for people to enjoy.

We thought for a while about something that would allow us to combine our talents but we wanted something big. We toggled different ideas of photo shoot set ups and then ways to incorporate other services that would create a specific niche. After sitting down and throwing ideas around. Luxury Picnics and small event planning came to mind. We did a lot of research and immediately put together our vision. We created mood boards and Golden Hour Gatherings was born. Within weeks we jumped right into purchasing everything we need for our Signature Golden Hour Theme and our Dark Academia theme, getting settled with our storage unit and spreading the word.

After countless conversation with family, friends, and anyone willing to listen about our idea, we became even more sure and excited about our new journey. We have had nothing but great feed back and excitement from everyone we love and everyone who heard.

Our mission with Golden Hour Gatherings is to be able to offer beautiful moments that will create a core memory for those who trust in us to provide exceptional experiences for their special events and intimate moments.
